AI Visibility
Track how often AI assistants mention your brand, how they describe it, and how you compare to competitors.
AI Visibility tracks something traditional SEO tools were never built to measure: how your brand shows up when people ask AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity questions in your market. This is a fundamentally different game from ranking on a search results page, and it needs its own kind of tracking.
Why this is different from traditional SEO
Traditional search ranking is about position — where your page lands on a results page for a given keyword. AI assistants don't return a list of links; they synthesize a single answer, often mentioning a handful of brands or sources by name, and sometimes none at all. Showing up well in that answer depends less on matching a keyword exactly and more on whether the AI has learned that your brand is a credible, relevant source on the subject. AI Visibility measures that instead.
What Amplefound checks
For the Prompts you're tracking, Amplefound checks how AI assistants answer and reports on:
Visibility and mentions
Whether your brand is mentioned in the answer at all, and how consistently that happens across repeated checks and across different assistants.
Share of voice
When an AI answer names several brands or sources, share of voice shows what portion of those mentions belong to you versus your competitors. A higher share of voice means you're more often the brand being talked about when the topic comes up.
Sentiment
Not just whether you're mentioned, but how — sentiment tracks whether the AI's framing of your brand tends to be positive, neutral, or negative. This matters because being mentioned unfavorably is a different problem than not being mentioned at all.
Competitors
Amplefound shows which other brands or sources show up alongside you in the same answers, so you can see who you're actually competing against for AI attention — which isn't always the same as who you compete against in Google.
Sources cited
When an AI assistant references specific sources for its answer, Amplefound flags which ones they are — including whether your own content is one of them.
How to use this page
Start by looking at your overall visibility trend, then break it down by Prompt or Topic to see where you're strong and where you're invisible. If a Topic shows consistently low visibility and negative or neutral sentiment where competitors are viewed favorably, that's a priority area for new content, updated Contexts, or a closer look at whether your site's information is even accurate and easy for AI systems to find.
A concrete example
A boutique law firm might discover it has strong AI visibility for "how does probate work" but zero visibility for "best probate attorney near me" — while a local competitor dominates that second prompt. That gap points directly to where the firm should focus its next round of content and local authority building.
