Articles
Amplefound's guided workflow for turning a keyword into a finished, on-brand, SEO-optimized article.
Articles are the core content pieces you create in Amplefound. Each one starts from a keyword and moves through a structured five-step workflow that combines your brand's voice, knowledge, audience, and goals into a finished piece ready to publish.
The five-step workflow
1. Setup
You start by choosing the keyword (or up to a few related keywords) the article should target. From there you can optionally add relevant Contexts (brand knowledge to draw on), a Voice Preset (how it should sound), a target Audience, a Goal (what the piece should accomplish), and any Links you want naturally referenced. If you leave any of these blank, Amplefound selects sensible defaults based on your account's history and settings.
2. Check
Before any content gets generated, you see a summary of everything that's been selected — the working title, keywords, preset, contexts, audience, goal, and links — with a clear indicator of which choices were automatic versus ones you made yourself. This is your chance to catch anything that doesn't look right before writing begins.
3. Outline
Amplefound generates a structured outline — headings and subheadings — based on everything configured in Setup. You can accept it as-is, edit any heading, reorder sections, or rebuild it manually if you want full control over the article's structure.
4. Compose
The full article is written from the outline, incorporating your brand voice, contexts, and target audience throughout. From here you can edit using a full rich-text editor, ask for specific sections to be rewritten with feedback, add images, and check basic content stats like word count and reading time.
5. Publish
The final step handles the details needed to actually put the article live: a meta description, a featured image, and a URL slug. If you have a CMS connected (see Integrations), you can publish directly from here; otherwise you can export the article and publish it manually.
Why the structure matters
Each step builds on the last, so decisions you make early — which keyword, which audience, which goal — shape everything that follows. This keeps articles focused and on-brand rather than generic, and means the finished piece reflects a deliberate strategy rather than being assembled from scratch each time.
A concrete example
A landscaping company creating an article around the keyword "fall lawn care tips" might add a Context about their specific services, select an Audience of "homeowners with mid-sized yards," and set a Goal of driving quote requests. The resulting article naturally works in the company's specific offerings, speaks to that homeowner's actual concerns, and includes a well-placed call to request a quote — rather than reading like a generic seasonal tips list.
After publishing
Once an article is live, keep an eye on how it performs in Search Ranking and AI Visibility for the keyword it targets. If it isn't gaining traction after a reasonable amount of time, that's useful feedback for your next round of content — whether that means the keyword needs a different angle, more supporting content, or stronger backlinks pointing to it.
