Google Search Console
Connect Google Search Console to power real keyword ranking data and Topic discovery.
Google Search Console is Google's own tool for showing site owners how their pages perform in search — and it's the single most important connection you can make in Amplefound. Without it, several core features simply don't have real data to work with.
Why you should connect it
Google doesn't make ranking, impression, or click data public for any given website — that information is only available to the site's verified owner, through Search Console. If you don't connect it, Amplefound has no way to know how your specific site is actually performing in Google's results.
What it powers
Search Ranking
Your Search Ranking dashboard is built directly from Search Console data — keyword positions, impressions, and clicks all come from this connection.
Topics and Keyword discovery
Search Console reveals queries your site is already getting found for, including ones you may not have deliberately targeted. Amplefound uses this to suggest new Keywords and refine your Topics based on real search demand, not just guesses about what people might be searching for.
How to connect it
Go to Connectors in your dashboard, choose Google Search Console, and follow the prompts to sign in with the Google account that has access to your site's Search Console property. If you haven't set up Search Console for your site before, you'll need to verify site ownership with Google first — this is a one-time step done through Google, not through Amplefound.
After connecting
Give it a little time — Search Console data typically has a short delay before it's fully available, and Amplefound needs to pull in a history of data before trends become meaningful. Once connected, check Search Ranking to confirm your keywords are showing real position and impression data.
Keeping the connection healthy
If your Search Console access changes — a new Google account, revoked permissions, or a change in site ownership — you may need to reconnect. If Search Ranking data suddenly stops updating, that's the first thing worth checking under Connectors.
