Members & Roles
Invite your team into Amplefound and understand what each role can and can't do.
Amplefound supports team accounts, so you don't have to manage everything alone. Inviting the right people with the right level of access lets your team collaborate on strategy and content without anyone needing to share a single login.
Inviting a team member
Go to Members in your account settings, and choose to invite a new member by email. They'll receive an invitation to join your workspace, and once they accept, they'll show up in your members list with whatever role you've assigned them.
The available roles
Amplefound's team accounts use three roles:
Owner
The account owner has full control over the workspace — every feature, every setting, and the ability to manage billing, invite or remove members, and change anyone's role, including transferring ownership itself.
Admin
Admins have broad access to manage the workspace's day-to-day work — Strategy, Growth, and Brand settings — without the account-level controls reserved for the owner, such as billing and ownership transfer.
Member
Members can work within the tools they've been given access to — creating and editing content, reviewing reports, and contributing to strategy — without account-level administrative controls.
Choosing the right role
As a general rule, reserve Owner for whoever is ultimately accountable for the account and its billing. Give Admin to people who need broad day-to-day control, such as a marketing lead managing the whole strategy. Give Member to people who need to do specific work — writing, reviewing, or content approval — without needing access to account settings.
Changing or removing access
You can update a member's role or remove them entirely from the Members page at any time. Removing someone immediately revokes their access to the workspace.
A concrete example
A small marketing agency running an Amplefound workspace on behalf of a client might set the agency's lead strategist as Admin, give a copywriter Member access to work on Articles, and keep the client's own point of contact as Owner so they retain ultimate control of the account and its billing.
